  1. 2001Company founded as EKP-Cool Oy

    Energy Machines Oy traces its origins back to 2001, with the founding of EKP-Cool Oy in Porvoo, Finland. Over the next decade, EKP-Cool built a strong reputation as a trusted manufacturer of high-quality water chillers, close control units, and specialized cooling equipment, serving a wide range of clients across the Finnish market.

  2. 2017EKP-Cool Oy joined Energy Machines through acquisition

    This marked a strategic shift toward international expansion and a new focus on high-performance heat pump technologies.

  3. 2023Official rebranding as Energy Machines Oy

    EKP-Cool Oy rebranded as Energy Machines Oy to align with its mission of supporting sustainable building energy systems as part of the Energy Machines Group.
