An Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage system with seven heat pumps (4.9 MW heating; 2.2 MW cooling) meets the entire energy demand of the 300,000 m² facility. The system operates with exceptional efficiency: COP 3.4–4.5 for heating and 50 for cooling.
